Kevin Sorbo Talks CineAbility, Religion and Politics

Recently I spoke to director Jenni Gold about her documentary CinemAbility which shed light on the lack of representation for handicapped actors in Hollywood. It was an eye opening experience into the atmosphere the industry has created that not only misrepresents disabilities on screen, but the culture it creates which keeps handicapped actors from pursuing a career. One of those actors interview was Kevin Sorbo, who had a role in Soul Surfer, a the tale of a surfer who lost her arm in a shark attack (Bethany Hamilton).
